Bill's Hat

This is the hat I made for my husband. He wears it every morning when we go out to feed the horses and during the day if it's cold!

I also made these Grandma and Grandpa Teddy Bears for a friend.

After I finished the shawl I decided that it was a bit to short, so I picked up the stitches along the ends and added another pattern section. I think it looks better with that added.
My sister is really happy with it. I also had a small iron shawl pin made for her but forgot to take a picture before I sent it off...

Christmas gifts that I made for family and friends.

Ok now that Christmas is over I can post the items I made for people.
To start with, this is a shawl I made for my sister. It is made with the Lord of the Rings yarn (like the rabbit in an earlier post).

This is my most recent accomplishment (other than Xmas surprises).
It's from the Summer '07 Interweave Knits. It's a cotton blend that is washable. I have a sleeveless top made from the same yarn in a different color so I was surprised by how warm this sweater is. I think it could be the double seed stitch that keeps it so warm.

This is a rabbit I made that I fashioned after the rabbit on the Stanborough website. The yarn is the same yarn used in the Lord of the Rings costumes so I like to believe there's a bit of magic in my rabbit!

It's been a while since I put anything on my blog, I've been mostly working on my Xmas gifts lately and don't want to post them just yet and ruin the surprise for the recipient.
So here is some stuff I did earlier in the year.
This is a sweater I made to wear to a friends wedding. It's made w/ washable cotton which makes life a bit easier on laundry day. The pattern was worked from the top down and I must admit, at 1st I was totally lost. But w/ the help of a friend - we got it started and the the rest went smoothly.
