Hand Spun Vest

Here is my new favorite vest. It's Hand Spun and Hand Dyed. Very comfy. It was a fun pattern to do too. And vests are always good in the South!

A Friend and I put together a booth at the Sweet Grass Dairy Farm Day before Xmas (that's how far behind I am on my blog...). It was a great success. Lots of interest and sales too! She brought her loom and I brought my spinning wheel. Some of the scarves hanging are hers and some are mine. I brought some of my Day Dreams Yarn and some Hand Spun Yarns too. We also had assorted other woven and knitted items.

Stranded Yarn Hat

I just finished a new hat! The colored yarn is hand spun and the brown is some yarn that I dyed with black walnuts. I'm really happy with the way it came out.

Handspun Sweater

I made a raglan sweater out of some handspun Alpaca/Bamboo roving I bought while in Tennessee. I LOVE the way it came out. I think it looks much better on than it does in this photo, but I wanted to show it off anyway. And it's so soft! I used a universal raglan pattern and added so lace to the sleeves and bottom. I'm planning another one with some of my own sheep's roving w/ a different color and lace. It will be a while yet before I finish that one...

Tequillia's new coat

I may a new coat for my daughter's little dog "Tequillia". I used Day Dreams Yarn. I made it over the summer last year and then saved it for his Xmas gift this year. I think he looks very stylish! (yes that is my kitchen table and NO he isn't normally allowed up there! He is just too short to take a good photo of!)
